Summertime means fundraising time at M.O.R.E. We wish to thank again our sponsors and players for participating in our annual golf outing at Blackstone Golf Course. More than $1,500 was raised to help in M.O.R.E operations. Friday, July 13, is set for our annual Fay’s Barbeque Chicken and Pork Chop Dinner at Marengo High School. This is an easy way to help support M.O.R.E. while having a pleasant time and a wonderful dinner. Many people bring their families and then attend the summer play in the auditorium. Hours are from 4:30-7p.m. and tickets may be purchased at the door. Can’t stay? We have carry out. Also, M.O.R.E. is conducting a raffle with three $1,000 prizes. Remember, this is a fundraiser and this is an easy way to help us out. With a little luck, you may go home with a smile and a fat wallet. You do not have to be present to win. All proceeds will go to M.O.R.E. programs and operations. See you there. M.O.R.E. is located at 829 Greenlee Street in Marengo, and is open from 9a.m.-noon on Wednesdays, and from 4p.m.-6p.m. on Thursdays.
